I’m here searching for the itch you gotta scratch, the scratch you gotta sniff, and the way it possesses you to just. keep. scratching. even when it bleeds.
Some of ya’ll have been around since my monthly newsletter which was one of my most surprising experiments. It brought me closer to mi gente in a way I didn’t know writing could. Here’s to more playing with sights, sounds, smells—the magic of a moment that lingers and shifts your footsteps to build a map where there is none. I’m finding that the treasures I’m burying (unfortunately) aren’t gold, but maybe you’ll find they’re worth digging up anyway.
