A visual collage and interpretation of the lore of Colonel Percival Harrison Fawcett. A man obsessed with finding the lost City of Z, his eden.

Inspired by the time in the artists life when her father was in intensive care and fighting cancer. The scenes depict three moments of childhood obliviousness to the serious surrounding situations. She is lead though the stressful time by her beanie-baby Dalmatian as a comforting companion.

BWR is all original images. Approaching this animation through the lens of a Black, White, and Red color palette helped her filter the world and see patterns. This short animation also explores the use of a blank white frame in order to see an after image and have a strobing effect.
